PAINT CORRECTION
What is Paint Correction?
Paint Correction is a meticulous process that removes imperfections from a vehicle’s paint surface—such as swirl marks, oxidation, scratches, and water spots—to restore a deep, mirror-like gloss. Using professional-grade compounds, polishers, and precise techniques, paint correction rejuvenates the clear coat and enhances color clarity, making your car’s finish look better than new.

At Naples Detailing, we take pride in restoring your vehicle’s paint to a flawless, showroom-quality finish. Here’s how our professional paint correction process works:
Thorough Wash & Decontamination: We start with a deep exterior wash to remove dirt, grime, and road film. Then, a clay bar treatment is used to eliminate embedded contaminants like tar, brake dust, and industrial fallout — ensuring a perfectly clean surface.
STEP 1

Next, our technicians carefully inspect the paint under specialized lighting to identify imperfections such as swirl marks, scratches, and oxidation. This allows us to determine the best polishing method and compounds for your specific vehicle.
STEP 2
Paint Correction (Cutting & Polishing)
Using professional-grade polishers and cutting compounds, we level out surface defects and refine the clear coat in multiple stages.
-
Cutting Stage: Removes deeper defects and oxidation.
-
Polishing Stage: Refines the finish to a brilliant gloss and high clarity.
STEP 3

Panel Wipe & Final Inspection: After correction, we perform an isopropyl alcohol wipe-down to remove any residual oils and inspect every panel to ensure a flawless, swirl-free finish.
STEP 4
Protection Application: To lock in the shine, we apply a premium wax, sealant, or ceramic coating — depending on your choice of service. This protective layer enhances gloss and provides long-term defense against UV rays, oxidation, and contaminants.
STEP 5

Final Touch & Delivery: Your vehicle is given a final wipe-down and detailed inspection before delivery, ensuring every inch of your paint reflects the Signature Finish you expect.
